Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Returns with Tyla as Musical Headliner

After a brief hiatus and a special on Prime Video last fall, the iconic Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is officially making its comeback to the airwaves on October 15. The fashion event promises to be bigger than ever, with Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Tyla set to take center stage as the musical headliner. According to Rolling Stone, she will be joined by an impressive lineup of top models, including Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, and Paloma Elsesser, showcasing the latest Victoria’s Secret fashions alongside custom designs made exclusively for the show.

Victoria’s Secret chose Tyla for her “vibrant personality” and “innovative take on pop and R&B,” describing her as an “integral” part of this year’s entertainment. The show will also feature an all-female musical lineup for the first time in its history, with other performers yet to be announced.

Reflecting on the opportunity, Tyla shared, “Growing up, I was captivated by the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – the stunning outfits, iconic wings, and charismatic models. The return of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show comes after it was canceled in 2019 due to declining ratings and shifting public perceptions of the brand. In a statement, the company expressed its commitment to bringing back the “glamour, wings, fashion and musical entertainment our customers know and love – with our values and brand mission of today at the forefront.”

This year’s show is set to be a dazzling spectacle, combining entertainment, diversity, and high fashion, while also signaling a new direction for the brand.
