Vatiswa Ndara Clarifies On Conclusions That She Was Out To Attack The Fergusons With Her Open Letter! It’s been just over a week since the open letter to Minister of Arts & Culture that sparked the biggest, ongoing debate of our time in the film and television industry.

People have been called out, there has been a lot of name calling, calling for boycotts but as it stands it seems no solution has been found. Vatiswa who started it all had a sit down with TshisaLIVE explaining further the public letter and what her intentions were in doing so. According to the actress, what she did not mean to do is launch an attack on the Fergusons saying they were just caught in the crossfire.

“People think that I was out to attack the Fergusons. It is not about that at all. I think you can say that they were caught in the crossfire now because there had already been problems. It was just that there were situations that involved them that pushed me to say enough is enough,” she told the publication.

In their statement to the media, the Fergusons called Vatiswa‘s claims petty, uncalled for and unnecessary. The actress confirmed to TshisaLIVE that she had not heard from the Fergusons or their legal team. “I have not heard from the Fergusons since the letter was sent. I know that they are considering legal action but I have not received any papers yet,” she added.
