Just when we thought Hip Hop news couldn’t get any steamier, this happens.
Well Tumi did suggest a while back that a few SA rappers should consider getting themselves ghostwriters and well it looks like Cassper Nyovest did exactly that for his Ashes To Ashes track.
After hearing AKA’s ‘Composure’ a number of Hip Hop fans were seated on the edge of their seats just waiting for Cassper’s response. One fan was so eager to hear the response that he decided to write it himself and share it with the Phumakim’ hit maker.
Emjay Moola reached out to a blog site to share that he was in fact the writer of Cassper’s response to AKA.
The underground rapper shares that Cassper offered him 20K for the rap after he went crazy just reading the first few lines. Emjay says that Cassper managed to deposit 2K into his account and promised to deposit the rest as soon as he got back to SA, and ordered him to not tell anyone about their deal.
Moola also adds that the rapper promised to give him a feature on his new album Refiloe. “I was very happy and I didn’t even mind about the outstanding balance as I knew that R18 000 can take me where I wanna be, but if Cassper Nyovest can feature me I can be one step away to where I wanna be.”
He then shared a screenshot of the exchange of words that went on between him and Cassper…
