Uncle Waffles is taking Amapiano to the world — and she’s doing it in style, with her talented dancers right by her side.
The internationally loved DJ recently shared a heartwarming video on social media showing her and her dancers having the time of their lives dancing to an Amapiano track while overseas. In the clip, Uncle Waffles and her team confidently take over the dance floor with big smiles and synchronised moves that scream joy and unity.
“Taking your dancers around the world, allow them to share their talents! Beautiful class led by the team,” she wrote in the caption. Her post quickly warmed hearts across South Africa, with fans praising her for shining the spotlight on her dance crew and taking them along on her journey.
The dancers, known as the We Love Waffles SA Dance Crew, are officially joining her on the UK leg of her We Love Waffles tour. They’ll not only be performing on stage but also hosting a special dance workshop in the UK, thanks to a partnership with Red Bull UK’s Bring The Vim. This workshop will give fans a chance to experience real Amapiano choreography and connect with the culture through dance.
Uncle Waffles will be performing two major shows in the UK at the end of May 2025. She’s set to headline at London’s Roundhouse on Friday, May 30, and at Forum Birmingham on Saturday, May 31. These shows are part of her much-anticipated global tour that celebrates both her music and the vibrant Amapiano movement.
Even Red Bull UK showed love by commenting on her post: “Princess of Amapiano has arrived!”
Local celebrities are also showing support. Media personality Somizi was blown away by the energy and talent in the clip. “To think this is just a rehearsal? Imagine the performance,” he wrote.
