Unathi Sets The Record Straight About The ‘Sangoma’ Story! Turns out Unathi is not a Snagoma nor has she gone under training for it. The singer says she was misquoted in an interview she did a few weeks ago.
“I’m not becoming a traditional healer,”she explained. Unathi says she was referring to a prediction from a stranger many years ago and has been repeated by several other spiritual leaders since.
“I’ve learnt that I have a healing ability and I’ve been told that I will heal through songs for now. Later on it might be through visions and other things because the spiritual realm evolves,” she told Drum.
