Unathi Nkayi is taking legal action against Ntsiki Mazwai, accusing her of spreading false claims, including an affair with Minister Gayton McKenzie. The media personality shared her frustration and intention to sue Ntsiki on Instagram, along with screenshots of their conversation.
In the post, Unathi addressed Ntsiki’s accusations directly, writing, “Ntsiki Mazwai, you have made very serious allegations against me, very slanderous. I will take you to court, you will have a perfect opportunity to show a court of law all your evidence. You have gone very far this time. Please start by posting your invite from the Cubans.”
In response, Ntsiki Mazwai pushed back, offering to send Unathi the evidence she claimed to have. She wrote, “Send me your email so I can send you all the communications. Thanks. Gayton I have not slandered you, you’re now trying to bully me into silence. Send your email, I am happy to send you the communications. Also, the people from Pa in your list??? Can we unpack that too?”
Unathi also took to her Instagram caption to explain why she was taking such strong legal steps. She said, “This is AFTER she said I slept with Mr. McKenzie, our minister. Maybe as the fake writer that she says I am, I don’t know the meaning of slander. Let me go and google the word. Tu tu tu ru THEY NOT LIKE US. PS My mother has just lost the love of her life. Imagine her hearing that I’m sleeping with the minister as she mourns. THAT’S WHY I AM DOING THIS.”
She highlighted how the rumours affected her, especially during such a personal time, and emphasised that the case was about more than just defending her reputation—it was about protecting her family from harm during a difficult period.
