Unathi almost took the spotlight away from SA Idols’ season 12 winner Noma Khumalo when she trended for a not so great reason Monday morning. Twitter blasted the singer and singing talent judge for not having the best vocals herself. Unathi claps back at ‘wooden mic contender’ critics.
Always classy, Unathi took to Instagram throwing subtle shade and silencing her critics reminding them she is a ‘Song of the Year’ winner after all.
“He says to me ‘Nhanha very few people can say THEY HAVE SONG OF THE YEAR yet we are so hard on ourselves’ I love him for SO MANY reasons……I’m just lost for words! I owe my music career, idols, etc @realzola.7,” Unathi captioned a photo of herself performing on the Idols stage with Zola. The same performance she was criticized for.
