Ukhozi FM is the biggest radio station in South Africa. We didn’t see that one coming. With 7.5 million weekly listeners, the station has surpassed the clearly not favorites Metro FM and Lesedi FM amongst others.
These statistics come from the latest Radio Audience Measurement Survey (Rams) findings. Metro FM comes in second with 6.8 million followers and Umhlobo Wenene FM rounding up the top three with 4.6 million listeners every week, the difference in numbers though.
