Remember the video of the Uganda’s Nannie from hell? She has been sentenced to 4 years in prison. The nanny rose to fame after a video of her beating, kicking and stamping on an 18-month-old child. During the court hearing she argued that the attack was revenge after she was beaten by the child’s mother. These allegations were however denied by the toddlers mother.
In response to the Nanny’s plea , Chief Magistrate Lillian Buchan told Tumuhiirwe she had committed an “unjustifiable and inexcusable” crime.
