Tyla, the rising star from Johannesburg, is fed up with people using photo editing apps to retouch her pictures. After noticing more and more images circulating that didn’t look like her at all, the “Water” hitmaker decided to speak out.

While it’s common for celebrities to use editing apps to smooth out imperfections or enhance their features, Tyla has had enough. She made it clear that she doesn’t need these edits. Initially, she didn’t mind a playful edit featuring her alongside Kanye West, but now she’s done. Taking to her Twitter (X) page, Tyla shared her frustration: “Stop face tuning me, please. I don’t need that s***, thanks.”

Tyla went on to humorously add, “At least give me some ass or something; leave the face alone.” Her message was simple—she wants her fans to appreciate her natural beauty and stop changing her look in photos.

Her fans quickly rallied behind her. One fan, @tylasbodyguard, joked, “We’ve been trying to tell them, sista. I fear you are just going to have to deal with it.” Another, @toptieralba, commented, “Glad you know your self-worth because this face card is too insane to be filtered.” Other supporters, like @tylaaura, agreed with her, saying, “Exactly, you’re perfect the way you are,” while @kiaunivrse added, “Y’all heard my sista, don’t play with her face card.”

Tyla’s message is clear: she’s proud of who she is and doesn’t need any artificial enhancements. In a world where filters and edits are the norm, it’s refreshing to see a star stand firm in their natural beauty.
