Twitter Fed Up With Andile Ncube’s Jokes About Friend Musa Mthombeni And His Wife Liesl. The award winning television and radio host’s recent tweets questioning Musa’s capability of wooing his wife, Liesl has been met with disappointment.
Since the Thabo Bester aka ‘Facebook Rapist’ broke out, many tweeps have been expressing distinct opinions on the story and even making jokes about it. Andile has also been one of them, he recently made a tweet asking how Musa as a medical doctor got Liesl to marry him.
“Since we are looking into Doctors right now someone please put a microscope on that Musa guy, khona okushaya amanzi lapha. How the hell did he get that girl ?!?” his tweet read.
While his tweet might have been made in jest, as the two are known for posting playful content aimed at each other and roasting each other many tweeps have suggested that his tweet was definitely cringeworthy. In addition to that social activist and author, Jackie Phomotse was also one of the tweeps who replied to the tweet expressing her disapproval and disappointment saying, “Jokes should be jokes between men, you pulling in his wife all the time is boarding on disrespect. A man’s wife should never be playing grounds for his friends. This is your friends WIFE! Stop it. His wife is Secret to him. I know you’re playing but boundaries.”
Some tweeps were of the opinion that Andile’s tweet was meant to be humorous but some were deliberately making a mountain out of a molehill. However, many tweeps were of the consensus that Ncube constantly having a habit of mentioning Liesl in his roasts/jokes was becoming boring and annoying. Some also claimed that he possibly has the hots for her and was secretly obsessed with Musa’s wife. Whilst others say they believe there is an unwritten rule of not complimenting your friend’s wife.
