Twitter Blogger Musa Khawula In Court For Murder Case

Musa Khawula At Court After Allegedly Accused Of Murder. He has made a name for himself by blogging about mostly celebrity woes and scandals on Twitter but as it turns out he has his own to worry about.

Musa Khawula reportedly appeared at the Vredenburg Magistrate court in the Western Cape on the 19th of September 2022 represented by Legal Aid in his ongoing murder case. According to IOL, the blogger who is accused of stabbing Wandile Khambule back in March appeared without his famous dreadlocks following his physical altercation with media personality Moshe Ndiki.

Khawula is accused of stabbing the deceased in the stomach and at the back. Musa reportedly acknowledged that he stabbed the deceased but in self defense. Khawula reportedly said in a statement that he was in a relationship with Khambule when the incident happened, according to the National Prosecuting Authority.

IOL reports that an eye witness known as Sweetness Jaftha, who was the girlfriend of the deceased alleged that Khawula came to the house of the deceased and wanted to talk to him but he refused. The girlfriend allegedly persuaded them to go outside and that’s where they started quarrelling. She allegedly saw Khawula running behind Khambula and stabbed him several times and ran away from the scene.

Khawula had allegedly stated on a Twitter Space how the deceased threw a beer bottle at him but he ducked and reached for the nearby knife and stabbed the deceased.

The National Prosecuting Authority reportedly remanded the case to 19 October 2022 for judicare.

Meanwhile Musa’s Twitter account with almost a quarter of a million followers has been suspended.
