Tweeps React To Zoleka Mandela Planning Her Death. The writer and activist who is the late former President Nelson Mandela’s granddaughter has in the past opened up about her battle with breast cancer. Her recent video of her detailing the final stages of her life because of her cancer worsening has had many tweeps expressing their opinions.

In a video circulating on Twitter of her being interviewed by Kaya 959’s Phemelo Motene, Zoleka Mandela said that she is in the planning stage towards her passing. Zoleka overcame breast cancer twice, but in September 2022 she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the bones, liver, and lungs. She further revealed that she has been preparing for her death and that she has met with professionals, family members and her lawyer to confer what life will be like for her offsprings should she pass.

“It will probably sound strange but, I think I am blessed or fortunate enough to be in a position where I am in my planning stages. I am having conversations with my loved ones, lawyer, therapist, and siblings to discuss what happens on the day and after I pass away,” she says.

Back in 2022, the writer took to her Instagram page to let her followers know that she was close to dying after a scan had shown that her cancer had spread to her liver and lungs.

“Yesterday (29.08.2022) marked my official diagnosis, the CT scan has revealed cancer both in my liver and lungs. I am yet to receive feedback regarding my Bone scan, to establish whether I have cancer beyond my ribs. I am hanging on by a thread,” she wrote to her Instagram.

“Thank you all for your outpouring of love, prayer, and support. Peace. Passion. Positivity,” the post concluded.

Many tweeps have since been offering words of support and empathy to Zoleka. With many saying that her cancer diagnosis is going to rob her young kids of a mother. Others saying that they wish her all the best in every conscious decision she takes in possibly leaving earth. Some tweeps further added that she embodied strength even after her upbringing hadn’t been perfect.

Being informed of your terminal illness is a blessing from God. He is letting you know how long you have left so you can spend your last days on earth working on your salvation by getting baptized in water and the Holy Spirit. You should not spend your last days on leisure etc

My only worry is those young children of hers. They still need their Mother, the thing with cancer is when it is in remission it comes back and it comes back more brutal than ever. Strength to her.💔

I truly hate Cancer. Having to plan your own death while still alive must be gut-wrenching. Even just being informed you have x amount of time. https://t.co/s2LJYPFw9H
