Tweeps React To Connie Ferguson And Seiphemo’s ‘Generations’ Comeback. Many social media users have reacted with mixed reactions to the announcement of Connie and Seiphemo appearing as guests on Generations:The Legacy.
Earlier this week, news broke out that Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphemo will be reprising their roles of Karabo Moroka and Tau Mogale respectively in April. The pair became one of the most loved on-screen couples of all time, as their relationship added an edge to their will-they-won’t-they dynamic that always had Generations lovers craving for more. In 2010, Connie left the show after a fully fledged 16 years on the show and Rapulana left in 2020 after 18 years.
Upon the news of their comeback, Generations spokesperson, Gaaratwe Mokhethi told TMG Entertainment that the Karabo Moroka character became a very iconic character due to the fact that her presence was desirable because of her impeccable acting.
“Karabo Moroka will forever be etched in our viewers’ memories. It was Connie’s skill and talent that truthfully told Karabo’s story, and for that, we’ll eternally be grateful to her,” Mokhethi said.
Tweeps have had a lot to say about the news of the two seasoned thespians returning to ‘Generations:The Legacy’. Some tweeps have said that the show had run its course and it was time it got cancelled. But some had different opinions and believe that it is important the producers of the show reprise some characters because they were bringing more life to ‘Generations’.
With some even saying that they were more than happy for duo’s return and were looking forward to seeing them in their iconic roles.
