Tumie Ngumla Bags A New Role On Upcoming Medical Drama. Mzansi is introducing more thrilling TV drama’s to the small screen. With these programmes have come new fresh faces and the return of thespians we haven’t seen in a while. Actress Tumie Ngumla is making a come back to the world of TV in a new drama that will be premiering very soon.

The Daily Sun publication has reported that Ngumla has bagged a new role on an upcoming TV drama called Wounds. This is 1Magic’s very first medical drama and she will be playing the role of Refilwe Dube.

The 35 year old actress has shared how excited and nervous she is about the role because of all the intimidating medical jargon that she won’t be able to improvise but has to say correctly.

Ngumla describes her character as multi layered and emotionally taxing to portray because there wasn’t a day where she didn’t have a very emotional scene to shoot, and hopes that veiwers will experience the emotions as well.

“I Hope it shows on screen the effort that I have put into this role” she said.

The impressive Wounds cast also features well known faces including Samke Makhoba in the lead role as Busisiwe, actress and author Ayanda Borotho, actor and presenter Buyile Mdladla, Talitha Ndima, Eve Rasimeni and many more.

 Wounds will be premiering on 1Magic, DStv Channel 103, Fridays at 21:30 starting 8 October.
