Tumi Morake Resigns From Jacaranda FM! Is it that part where we say we saw it coming or nah? The comedienne has announced her resignation from the radio station after eight months co hosting the Breakfast show.
Tumi had not had it easy at the station after listeners accused of being a racist. Tumi however stated she was leaving because of other career plans in a statement posted on the radio station’s website.
“My performance career is taking a new direction and unfortunately radio‚ with the time and energy it requires at this level‚ doesn’t fit into those plans. I had a great time and learnt many valuable lessons‚ yes‚ even when the pawpaw hit the fan. I wouldn’t change it for the world‚” Tumi said..
Morake says the decision to leave Jacaranda was no easy one. “This was not an easy decision for me at all. The timing was just not right for this relationship‚ it is like leaving a lover that you are still in love with. I really hope that fate will bring us together again one day.”
