Congrats are in order for our very own Trevor Noah who got his two first nods at this year’s National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards held this past Friday. Trevor Noah wins big at his first American Awards.
Trevor won two Awards for his hit and best selling book, ‘Born A Crime’. He won in the categories ‘Outstanding Literary Work’ – Debut Author & Outstanding Literary Work – Autobiography for his book Born A Crime.
“About last night- Such an honour to receive 2 NAACP Image Awards for my book “Born A Crime”. When I wrote the book my only hope was that people would read it. Everything that has happened since is a giant blessing I never dreamed of.
#mzansi4sho??,” Trevor wrote on Instagram after winning.
