For the South African leg of the press tour, our very own leading lady of the film, Thuso Mbedu came back home and brought along co-star, British actor John Boyega.
The two clearly formed a close friendship since filming and have been spending extra time together on press tour. Their chemistry has left fans wondering if there’s more to their relationship beyond being co-stars. Following Boyega’s tweet about wrapping up press tour, Thuso responded calling him “homie” which had fans feeling some type of way. ”It’s been good knowing you, homie. See you around,” Thuso responded to her co-star. Fans expressed disappointment with how Thuso might have friendzoned her hunky co-star whilst others where not buying it and saw it as a cover up. “Kahle Thuso!!!
