Award winning actress Thuso Mbedu is still flying the flag high in Hollywood, after bagging yet another award nomination. The actress did an amazing job on her role as Cora on the Underground Railroad limited series and her hard work is definitely paying off.
It has been revealed that the actress has bagged a nomination for Outstanding Performance In a New series at the 2021 Gotham Awards for her role as Cora. The platform revealed the news via its twitter platform and her fans are very excited for her. Mbedu is up against well known actors including the likes of Jennifer Coolidge, Michael Greyeyes, Ethan Hawke
and many more.
The Gotham Independent Film Awards are American film awards take place annually independent films in New York City.
Winners for the awards will be announced on the 29th of November in New York City and we are crossing fingers that our girl walks away with award. This is not the only win that Thuso has had this year after receiving a Hollywood Critics Award honourary award.
The actress was recognized by the platform for her talents and awarded with the TV Breakout Star Award for her role on the Barry Jenkins directed mini series and Thuso is beyond happy about the win.
