Thuli Phongolo Reveals How Much A Local Artist Once Offered Her To Fake A Relationship With Him For Publicity! They say fake it till you make it and no one does the statement justice more than celebrities.
Mzansi has caught on on the culture of exaggeration and faking it all for publicity. We’ve seen it with actresses and actors, artists and even media personalities. Who can forget the time AKA and his now ex Bonang staged a breakup only for the rapper to “surprise” Bonang on air with a 50k Gucci purse as an apology.
Well, not everyone is good at PR stunts as the likes of AKA. Actress Thuli Phongolo recently revealed that a local artist offered her R100k to lie about them dating as a PR stunt for his album release. Thuli did not however reveal who the artist is but clearly it’s someone established with 100k lying around.
“Kana, there’s an artist that offered to pay me a 100k to act like we’re dating prior to his album release… my team and I have heard it all! Ayincinci,” Thuli tweeted.
Thuli hasn’t been linked to any artist since Black Motion’s Bongz a while ago, so we’re guessing she turned it down. Also sis wouldn’t be tweeting about it if she had. We wonder how many would let 100k slip through their fingers without breaking a sweat? What’s a little fake relationship anyway, right… no?! Okay, clearly some people have integrity.
