Thrilling Khanyi Mbau Blockbuster Film ‘Red Room’ Premiers On Showmax. She may have moved to Dubai with her man but the queen of bling is still within her bag here in Mzansi. Khanyi Mbau just wrapped up her role as Zaza on the Netflix sequel movie Happiness Ever After and fans are already being served with another blockbuster by the actress. Showmax is has been serving Mzansi with some of the coolest local production all year round and this film is no exception.
Taking to Instagram, Khanyi revealed the exciting news of her 2019 film called Red Room premiering on Showmax, where she takes centre stage. Red Room follows a woman who losses everything when her affluent husband kills himself. She then loosing pretty much everything and ends finds herself on the street, days before she is due to give birth.
With nowhere to go and no money, she is attacked and mugged, but a good Samaritan rescues her and takes her to a shelter called ‘God’s Haven,’ a place of safety. She does give birth at the facility, but God’s Haven turns out to be an entirely different underworld fuelled by danger, desire and deception.
The Sans Moonsamy directed film also stars other local acting gems including the likes of Cici Twala, Pakamisa Zwedala and many more. Fans, followers and celebrity friends including Laconco, Nadia Nakai, Nambitha Ben Mazwi and more commented on the post sharing how excited they are for the premier of the film.
After years of anticipating the continuation of Happiness is A Four Letter Word, fans were finally treated to the sequel of the film Happiness Ever After which just dropped on Netflix
Khanyi and Renate have returned to continue with their roles as Zaza and Princess with the talented Nambitha Ben-Mazwi who replaced the role of Mmabatho Montsho. The film recently hosted the most beautiful watch party which had an epic outside picnic vibe to it and all of Mzansi’s elite celebs were in attendance.
