Theo Baloyi, the visionary founder of Bathu Group, has once again reached a significant milestone, this time with the opening of the brand’s 35th store at Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. Known for his determination and strategic growth, Baloyi continues to set a high standard in the South African retail space.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Theo expressed his excitement, writing, “#Store 35. Today marks a major milestone as we open Bathu’s 35th store at Menlyn Shopping Centre! This achievement is a powerful testament to our strategic vision for impact, job creation, and sustainable growth.”

The Bathu brand, known for its uniquely African sneaker designs, has been steadily expanding under Baloyi’s leadership. With each new store, Bathu not only enhances its footprint but also creates jobs, adding to the South African economy. Looking beyond local borders, Baloyi hinted at ambitions for global growth. “This milestone paves the way for our global expansion, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!” he added.

Theo’s gratitude was evident as he acknowledged the teamwork and loyal customers behind Bathu’s success. “A heartfelt thank you to our amazing team and our loyal customers—your continued support fuels our journey. Together, we’re not just building a brand; we’re creating a legacy!” he shared.
