Thembi Seete doesn’t even look old right? The TV personality and singer is finally making her comeback and this time around she’ll be acting on Rhythm City!
Speaking to City Press about her role on the eTV drama, Thembi explains that her character, Bongi, is a singer who used to be as big as Whitney Houston and Brenda Fassie.
“Someone that was just larger than life…and then she lost everything.”
The singer then explained how challenging the role has been because of her past, “What makes it more challenging is having to see the pictures, to remember the things that I used to see, to witness when I was growing up and being part of the group Boom Shaka.”
Thembi then added that the role will bring an exciting change to the drama but also show a new side to being ‘famous’ as it’s not always about the glitz and glam but also about working hard.
We can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.
