In a compelling interview with TshisaLIVE, South African hip-hop giants Nasty C and K.O delve into their latest collaboration, Too Much,  created in partnership with Skhandaworld. The track, which combines their unique styles and lyrical prowess, marks a significant moment in the evolution of South African hip-hop.

K.O, whose real name is Ntokozo Mdluli, describes the song as a celebration of material gains and the art of flexing, all wrapped in the artists’ distinctive delivery styles. “This collaboration is a significant moment in the country’s hip-hop, combining the lyrical depth of Nasty C with my energetic flair. The last time our fans saw us collaborate was on DJ Vigilante’s song Bang Out almost a decade ago,” he reflects.

Nasty C, born Ntokozo Ngcobo, offers a more introspective take on the single, sharing how it mirrors personal milestones in his life. “The song reflects on personal milestones, including my relationship with the mother of my child and some of the privileges I afforded my son through fame and notoriety,” he reveals. His verses provide a poignant contrast to K.O’s dynamic performance, as he infuses the track with his signature voice and a catchy hook that’s sure to resonate with listeners.

As Too Much continues to garner attention, it’s clear that both Nasty C and K.O are not only flexing their material success but also showcasing the evolution of their artistry, bringing fans along for the ride in the ever-dynamic world of hip-hop.
