Season 2 of  The Mommy Club on Showmax definitely brought more drama and excitement when two new cast members were introduced in the beginning of the series – Nozipho Ntshangase and Jabulile Sande. They were joined by returning favourites Her Majesty, Mrs. Mops, Nunurai, and Ratile, who definitely delivered a season full of glamour and intrigue.

According to Showmax Stories, adding to the excitement, TV presenter, actress, and singer Ntombee Ngcobo-Mzolo will host the highly anticipated reunion special, premiering on Showmax on June 10, 2023. The Mommy Club has already set records for the most social media views of any reality series on the platform and has had its entire cast trending simultaneously on Twitter (now X) with each new episode.

“As a fan of The Mommy Club,  I am excited that I will host the reunion,” says Ntombee speaking to Showmax Stories, who is a mother herself. “I relate to the ladies on so many levels and I know how fulfilling and challenging motherhood can be. My experience as a mother and a wife will come through at the reunion.”

Ntombee is committed to addressing all the season’s drama head-on. “So much happened this season and I will address all the issues that arose on the show with no fear or favour,” she says. “That is what the fans deserve.”

Ntombee emphasises that her approach will remain neutral. “I am there to represent the fans and make sure that their voices are heard. It is not about me. I am going to remain neutral and make sure we get to the bottom of everything. I will try to understand each mommy’s point of view and see how issues can be resolved so that they can move forward.”

She hopes that viewers, especially fellow mothers, will learn from the cast’s experiences. “I want other mommies who are watching the show to learn from what the cast is going through; there is something to learn from each lady.”
