Thando Thabethe Sends A Positive Message To All Black Girls: “YES BLACK GIRL ITS POSSIBLE”

Thando Thabethe has had one of the toughest and probably the best year’s of her life.

Going from hosting and launching a successful campaign against woman abuse, to losing her brother, to then scoring a lead actress role on Generations: The Legacy and eventually gifting herself with a beautiful Range Rover.

The actress and TV  personality has made it her mission to be the best role model she can be to all girls across South Africa, and we must say she’s doing a pretty good job.

As we all know, girls in 2015 have made it a point to rely on men and finances that come from a ‘girlfriend allowance’. While some understand that you don’t need a man to get things done, others need a voice like Thando’s to remind them that they can do it on their own.

In a post on Instagram she took a minute to remind all black girls that things are possible if you just push yourself hard enough.

YES BLACK GIRL ITS POSSIBLE…

I’m in awe at how many young black girls think certain thing are unachievable, how you need a man to propel your success or to afford you things. Once we begin to try and understand the power of our minds and of our dreams we open up ourselves to things others deem impossible. I ask myself if not me then WHO?!!! Dont try to dim others people’s light because you are afraid of failing and of achieving…YOU are the prisoner of your own mind, if you decide to limit yourself that’s on YOU. Leave the rest of us to live our best lives…YES BLACK GIRL ITS POSSIBLE
