Last night, the Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff in Johannesburg was abuzz with excitement as Glamour SA and L’Oréal Paris celebrated Temiloluwa Elizabeth Otedola, the first African Digital Ambassador for L’Oréal Paris. The exclusive dinner, marking her cover reveal, drew some of South Africa’s biggest stars, including public figure Khosi Twala, reality TV stars Mrs. Mops and Mrs. Sande, multi-award-winning transgender activist Yaya Mavundla, and TV personality K Naomi.
Temiloluwa, a Nigerian actress and blogger, shared her excitement on Instagram: “I still don’t believe I’m typing this but l’m so excited to announce that I am the first ever African Digital Ambassador for @lorealparis. I’m truly honoured to be the first Nigerian representing L’Oréal not only across Africa but also on a global stage. This has been the hardest secret to keep for the last 6 months!! I’m so excited to share L’Oréal’s iconic products and equally iconic brand with all of you. To me, the L’Oréal woman is empathetic, unapologetic, and of course, infallible. She’s Worth It! I can still remember playing with my mom’s L’Oréal Lipstick and Mascara so this is a REAL dream come true!!! I’m charging up for all the many moments and milestones I’ll be creating with my new L’Oréal Family. @lorealparis #worthit.”
The glamorous event featured a red-themed dress code for the guests, while the honoured star of the night, Temiloluwa, dazzled in white. Attendees enjoyed a lavish three-course meal and received goodie bags from L’Oréal Paris, ensuring a memorable evening for all.
The celebration not only highlighted Temiloluwa’s groundbreaking achievement but also underscored the growing influence of African talent on the global stage.
