Award-winning South African actress Thuso Mbedu is making waves again as she stars in HBO’s latest crime drama series, Task, which is now available to stream and enjoy on Showmax. The series comes from Brad Ingelsby, the creator of the Emmy-winning hit Mare of Easttown, and is already being hailed as one of the most exciting new dramas of the year.
The show features an impressive cast, with four-time Oscar nominee Mark Ruffalo taking on the role of an FBI agent leading a task force determined to stop a string of violent robberies that shake up a quiet Philadelphia suburb. The storyline promises suspense, tension, and emotional drama that will keep viewers glued to their screens.
