Former Miss South Africa 2018 and medical doctor Tamaryn Green Nxumalo and her husband, Ze Nxumalo, are celebrating four years of marriage.

Tamaryn recently took to Instagram to mark the special milestone. The beauty queen shared pictures from their wedding day and reflected on their journey together. In the caption, she wrote, “4 years later, and I’m still in awe of how God brought us together. My best friend. I love you.”

The couple tied the knot in April 2022 in a beautiful ceremony at the stunning Quoin Rock Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. Before their white wedding, they also celebrated their love with a traditional umembeso ceremony in October 2021. Tamaryn and Ze first started dating in 2019, and their relationship has continued to grow ever since.

Their love story reached another special milestone in 2025 when they welcomed their first child, a baby girl. In February, Tamaryn announced the birth of their daughter on social media. She shared a heartwarming photo showing the newborn’s tiny hands.

“Our first Valentine’s Day as a family of three,” she captioned the post, celebrating the joyful moment with her followers.

In a previous interview with TRUELOVE, Dr. Tamaryn opened up about her pregnancy journey. She explained that the first trimester was not easy.

“The first trimester definitely had its challenges with the morning sickness. I experienced a lot of nausea, and a lot of things took me by surprise with how my body changed—getting ache on my back, changes in my breasts. Just things you would never think of,” she said.

Despite the challenges, Tamaryn said she made an effort to dress up and maintain her confidence during and after pregnancy.

“It’s very important for me because it’s part of who I am. It creates a sense of confidence when you just put in the effort. Make yourself beautiful for the day, it really does help with mental health as well, especially after a very emotional and tough day.”
