The SAMAs have revealed that the funny hosts pulled out an incredible and record breaking 4,5 million viewers making them the highest rated hosts for the SAMAs in 10 years.
Somizi took to Instagram sharing his excitement upon learning about the new record. “We did our best and our best was good enough. Thank you Mzansi,” he wrote.
Soon after the Awards, Somizi shared that he turned down an opportunity to host the Awards again in 2018 saying he wanted to take a break from hosting the SAMAs.
