More great news for Somizi who has just been announced as the newest addition to SABC radio. Somizi and Thando Thabethe to host the 2016 SAMAs. The news has been out for a few days but both hosts took to Instagram Thursday morning to confirm.
“Good morning it’s official, so happy to FINALLY announce that I will be your host for the 22nd annual South African Music Awards alongside the crazy @somizi,” Thando wrote on Instagram.
Somizi being Somizi shared a dramatic video announcing the news. “So super proud, grateful and honored to announce that I will be hosting #sama22 alongside the talented @thando_thabethe,” he captioned the video.
Somizi will be joined by Khanyi Mbau and Phat Joe who will be doing interviews with winners in the Amstel Green Room. Bonang Matheba, Pearl Modiadie and Lunga Shabalala will cover the red carpet for the night.
