It looks like Somizi is not bothered by the backlash his radio debut received. The SA Idols host and Metro FM DJ says it’s his time now and he’s not planning to slow down anytime soon. Somizi says he owns 2016 and 2017.
“I said at the beginning of the year that I own 2016 and 2017, and so far God has exceeded my expectations,” he told Drum Magazine.
With regards to the flack the Metro FM show has been getting, Somizi says he has never been the kind of person who worries about other people’s opinions.
