Somizi Reacts To The Hong Kong International Film Festival Honouring Mary Twala. South African media personality, Somizi Mhlongo will forever express the pride and admiration he has for his iconic late mother Mary Twala.
Somizi took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a recent article that paid tribute to Twala by The Hong Kong Film Festival and awarded her the prize for Best Actress for her role in the film, ‘This Is Not A Burial, It’s A Resurrection‘.
“She didn’t die…..she multiplied…..she stays winning” Somizi wrote.
Mary Twala was also recently honoured by Tina and Beyonce Knowles for her appearance in Beyonce’s film ‘Black Is King’ which premiered early August along with many other local stars.
