Somizi Pens A Heartfelt Message To BFF Kelly Khumalo Following Her Loyal Act. The industry has said to be filled with fake people and genuine friendships are quite hard to find. TV personality and reality star Somizi Mhlongo can rest assured that his circle of friends definitely have his back.
Beside bestie and alleged boyfriend Vusi Nova, Somizi has another bestie who has proven how much their friendship means to her. This follows Somizi’s recent banning saga after he was invited to attend a restaurant re-opening in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The Apostolic Christian Council of Zimbabwe wrote a letter to the president’s office that has been circulating on social media to the government, saying it opposed Somizi Mhlongo’s visit to the country and its members have no tolerance for homosexuals and felt violated by his visitation.
After Somizi was dropped from the event, they then tried to replace him with award winning singer Kelly Khumalo. Of Course the singer who is great friends with the former Idols SA judge declined the offer after finding out why Somizi was banned from the event.
Somizi was very touched by Kelly’s loyalty and penned a heartfelt lengthy appreciation post to thank the singer. Mhlongo shared how impressed he is by Kelly morals which she has proven through their ups and down away from the media.
The reality star claims that he wouldn’t have been mad if she had taken the offer but respects her even more because she stood her ground and supported him. Somizi gushed about hoe much he love and appreciates Kelly and would do the same if he were ever to be faced with the same dilemma.
“DEDICATION POST…..hayi shem wena Miss LOYAL i know how sensitive ur when ot comes to loyalty….and u have proven so many times what the word means. Me and u have been there for each other in situations the world dont know about….Recently u have been tested not once but twice and still u rose for the occasion….and this time even if u took the offers i wasnt gonna be offended but still u didnt….being replaced by u wud be an honor to me and wud show that i need big shoes to replace me….but u didnt coz yo loyalty wud not allow u Kelly Khumalo …..ngiyavuma….I love u…..and i hope u will never ever doubt that id also do the same for u” he wrote.
Following the incident, Somizi received an invite from Namibia and he definitly enjoyed his time visiting the country.
