Reality TV star, singer, and businesswoman Londie London has officially opened her brand-new Londie London Hair Studio at Bryanston Shopping Centre. On 5 November, she introduced the studio’s official Instagram page, and excitement immediately began to build.
Announcing the news, Londie wrote:
“Londie London Hair Studio Announcement! We’re now taking bookings! Good hair days start here. Our chairs are open, and our stylists are ready for you! Book your next appointment at London London Hair Studio – because you deserve to look and feel amazing.”
The support poured in fast. Within two hours, the hair studio’s Instagram page grew to over 18,000 followers, and it now stands at more than 25,000, showing just how strong the love is for Londie’s new venture.
Among the first celebrities to support her was media personality Somizi Mhlongo, who visited the salon to try out the services for himself. Showing off his new blonde braids with curls, he praised the salon and Londie’s team, writing:
“Today I went to support a dear friend @londie_london_official at her newly opened salon. The best braids l’ve had in my life. They’re as based in Brynston shopping centre. Oh and the prices are so worth it and reasonable. Yes we don’t just support friends with just our mouths. We pay.”
Londie was touched by his gesture and replied with love, saying: “Aaaahhh! I love you so much. thank you for always supporting me.”
Reality TV star Lo Sithole also showed her excitement, sharing that she even flew from Durban to get her hair done at the new studio. She said: “I want to fly from Dbn to do my hair as well.”
Londie first hinted at this business move in August 2025 when she announced the upcoming studio. At the time, she wrote:
“Thanks to the incredible support behind the Londie London Braid, we’ve grown into something even more beautiful. I’m so excited to officially announce the upcoming launch of @londielondon_hairstudio this Spring! A space dedicated to all things hair care, from luxe braids for adults to playful styles for little ones and, of course, the proud home of @londielondonbraid_sa. It’s more than a salon, it’s a hair haven.”
Beyond her new studio, Londie is also known for Londie London Braids, home to the longest braids in Africa.
With celebrities like Somizi backing her and fans showing massive support, Londie London’s new hair studio is already shaping up to be one of Bryanston’s most talked-about beauty spots.
