Somizi Issues A Statement Following Abuse Accusations From Mohale! A lot has come to light in the past week about Somizi and Mohale’s troubled marriage and it looks like more is yet to be revealed. Following the Sunday World article in which Mohale made several accusations against estranged husband Somizi, an audio was leaked in which he explained the events in detail.
From alleged threats Somizi made to Mohale in their home after arguments, to alleged damaged property of Mohale’s and alleged threesome suggestions, Mohale told it all or maybe some of it? On the other hand, Somizi who is normally active on social media on a daily has taken a hiatus since the article came out. The media personality is focusing on work including his Metro FM show which has since received backlash for keeping him on air despite the serious allegations made against him.
Somizi did however released a statement through his legal team saying he had referred the matter to his legal team. “Given the severity of the allegations, Mr. Mhlongo has referred this matter to his legal team who are best equipped to handle the matter moving forward. No further comment will be given until such a time deemed necessary by his legal representatives,” the statement posted by entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela on twitter reads.
On the other hand, black twitter has not kept quiet calling out not only Metro FM but SA celebs for choosing to keep quiet about the matter and not call out Somizi. A few celebs have however spoken out saying they believe Mohale. Check out their tweets below.
