Somizi Drops Bombshell On Why He Did ‘Whose Show Is It Anyway?’! Turns out Khanyi Mbau and Somizi’s controversial radio show on Metro FM back in 2016 called ‘Whose Show Is It Anyway?’ was not just another radio show.
Somizi revealed to Metro FM’s The Great Escape hosts that the show which was introduced as one of the “new” line up was in fact business deal and he regrets doing the show.
“Doing that radio show last year was something I regret. It was not a mistake, I did it because it was a business decision. I was asked to host the SAMAs last year and there were politics that I was on the ‘other side’ and they wanted to use SABC talent,” Somizi said.
Somizi says he agreed to do the show because hosting the SAMAs was a big dream of his. “But after the SAMAs it was the biggest regret of my career. I always see the light in everything. I used it as a learning opportunity. It was preparing me for bigger things: the breakfast show,” he said.
