Arthur Mafokate found himself in hot water on social media after he tweeted he tweeted his full support of DA’s Johannesburg mayoral candidate Herman Mashaba in the wake of Joburg’s inaugural council meeting on Monday. Social media questions Arthur Mafokate’s loyalty to ANC.
“Wow! Bra Herman Mashaba who used to sponsor us as dancers is about to be a Mayor of the most powerful city in Africa #JoburgMayor,” he tweeted. It didn’t take time before EFF leader Julius Malema tweeted his shock upon seeing Arthur’s tweet. “@ArthurMafokate he banna @MYANC,” Julius tweeted.
