We didn’t see this coming. Moments after Trevor Noah pulled out of his hosting duties at the MTV Africam Music Awards, Bonang was announced the new host of the show. Whilst others think Bonang was fitting in such a short notice, most think the awards could’ve done with someone funnier, the shade! Social media not happy with Bonang replacing Trevor Noah as MAMAs host.
Social media went in on the TV host saying the Awards need someone a bit more funny. Some brought back the topic of open up the industry saying there are many great hosts across the continent who could’ve done a great job hostng the MAMAs.
