However, creatively her state-of-mind has currently been on Afro-Tech. As we saw her on Zakes Bantwini’s ‘Girl In The Mirror‘ song — And now with her NEW single, ‘AMAZWI‘.

On her brand NEW single, ‘AMAZWI’, she presents to her new and old fans a song that has beautifully layered vocals that can only be in Skye Wanda’s style! ‘AMAZWI’ is her first single after winning the coveted SAMRO Songwriter Of The Year award at this year’s Basadi In Music Awards, which was hosted in mid-October, 2022. The song is a prayer of gratitude and acknowledging the Higher Being, God or Universe for life and asking for protection. Making it a relatable song for whatever belief one follows or believes in. 

‘AMAZWI‘ has already made its mark on radio and on the dance floors in spaces such as UR, and can certainly be expected to be one of the biggest songs this festive season.
