Skeem Saam Family Mourns The Death Of Isaac (Ramolao Moloisi) Mokoena! The SABC 1 show lost one of its cast members this past week after a lo ng battle with a heart condition.
The 52-year-old died on Friday at Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria. Isaac Mokoena had been acting for over twenty years. Before Skeem Saam, he had roles in shows like Khululeka, Generations, Isibaya, Scandal!, Isithunzi and Isikizi.
SABC first issued a statement saying, “It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the passing of Thema Mokoena. He was a valued member of the Skeem Saam team and will be dearly missed. On behalf of the channel, cast and crew, we wish his family strength during this difficult time.”
His wife and family were reported to be in agreement that he would be burried in Ebony Park, Midrand, on Saturday. May his soul rest in peace.
