SK Khoza Opens Up About Emotionally Abusing His Fiancé Ayanda Hlongwane. Being in a relationship not only means having a life companion but it also come with a lot of self growth that has to be done. the Queen actor Shembiso Khoza known affectionately as SK opened up about the how he has grown from his old abusive ways which he wasn’t aware were harmful to his relationship in the beginning.
Taking to Instagram, SK penned a lengthy message about how he used to bottle emotions inside that would result in him having a lot of pent-up anger toward people especially his fiancé Ayanda Hlongwane. SK whom was unaware the he ended up projecting his anger on the love of his life.
The actor admitted that whenever he would address an issue he would do so not in a calm manner not realizing how this was hurting Ayanda. Khoza has owned up to being emotionally abusive to his partner who has made him understand the abuse is not only in a physical manner.
The actor has apologized for allowing his problems to over power him noting that emotional abuse is not okay because it also damages the people involved. The Queen actor has since vowed to work on bettering himself and his communication skills to ensure that his relationship grows healthier and stronger.
“Keeping things that break your spirit and hurt you inside is not always a good thing. I have come to realize that I have done so and I ended up not realizing that I was taking it out on my fiancé @Ayearndar whenever I do talk about what is affecting me I would not address it in a calm manner,
“…and in turn, I didn’t see that I was hurting her and in a way, I was being emotionally abusive towards her. She has made me understand that just because I don’t physically abuse her, I was doing so with my words and I want to speak out and say I am sorry I didn’t address my problems and allowed them to overpower me.” he wrote.
His followers especially those who are female credited the actor for being a man and wanting to do better for himself and his lady which is a quality that is surely hard to find. SK and Ayanda met in 2020 and decided to be a couple two weeks after knowing one another. Later that year, SK proposed to Ayanda in December on IG Live and they have since been what we would we would love to call the cutest couple goals.
