Sizwe Dhlomo Responds To Tweeps Claiming He Got Unathi Nkayi Fired For Her Salary. Social media has been abuzz with mixed reactions with the news of Unathi Nkayi’s salary revelation. In addition Sizwe has had to refute claims that the reason Unathi got dismissed is because he was eyeing her remuneration.
Recently it was alleged that Unathi Nkayi’s salary at ‘Kaya 959’ was R81K. The tweet then went viral with many tweeps sharing their opinions on Unathi’s salary. Many had expressed that she was a lucky woman who was doing well for herself, whilst others believe that she should have been receiving more.
Unathi’s contract was prematurely terminated back in 2021, after the station alleged that she had lied about her reported fallout with her then coworker, Sizwe Dhlomo. It is reported that she had been untruthful about their verbal altercation, she had allegedly given a false account of the sequence of events.
Replying to a tweet suggesting that he got Unathi intentionally fired, Sizwe said: “She lied & got what she deserved.” Another tweep then responded to his answer saying, “Who are you to say she got what she deserved?? Sizwe you took away food from her kids mouth! Stop being this person.”
An unbothered and defiant Sizwe then hit back saying that he wasn’t going to have a formal discussion with the tweep on Unathi’s firing. “I’m not here to debate with you,” he tweeted in response.
However, some tweeps seem to think that whilst Unathi had actually been dishonest it would have been better if Sizwe tried reaching out to her so they could mend their relationship. Others added that Sizwe was hypocritical and acted as if he has never ever transgressed in his life.
