Sizwe Dhlomo Responds To DJ Sbu Saying He Is Not A Hustler. The ‘Mofaya’ co-founder and ‘Kaya 959’ radio presenter recently locked horns on Twitter over DJ Sbu’s quest for employment at national broadcaster ‘SABC’. Their interaction even progressed to the said men making disparaging remarks at each other.
DJ Sbu left many social media users suprised when he made a revelation that he was more than willing to go back to the SABC for the right amount of money. Taking to his Twitter, DJ Sbu said he would ‘serve’ South Africa to work for the SABC for a satisfactory remuneration. Shortly afterwards, Dhlomo piqued at him for saying getting a job at Metro would be him “serving SA”. Sbu then responded to Sizwe’s shady comment, he said that Sizwe as an employee didn’t have the grasp of the definition of a hustler.
The encounter then escalated to a skirmish with Sizwe making it known that he doesn’t assign any value to being called a hustler. “Lol! The funniest thing is, the things that they value, I honestly don’t give a damn about. Imagine me fighting to be called a ‘hustler’!” he tweeted.
Thereafter, Sbu took to his YouTube channel to express how he is of the belief that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Further stating that despite their misunderstanding he didn’t hold anything to heart and didn’t have any ill-feelings towards Sizwe.
”I got nothing against Sizwe. I love him, and he is my brother. He’s done really well for himself, but Sizwe is an employee, you know what I mean. Me and him are different. I built things. So when you are gonna have an opinion about a hustler, you will not understand how he moves when you are an employee and getting a big fat check at the end of every month,” the DJ said.
