BET Africa’s original daily drama Redemption has added two characters to its already star-studded cast. #Spotted in the latest episodes, South African actor and television presenter, Siphiwe Mtshali joins the cast as Herbert “Toolkit” Mokoena, Oupa Mokoena’s younger brother. Toolkit is a slithering charmer who shows up to his brother, Oupa’s house unannounced. He is street smart, a hustler, and a wheeler and dealer who can sell any woman dreams. Besides crime, Toolkit is an entertainer and a smooth talker who has stories for days (some of them not exactly true).
Surprise visits continue as later this season, viewers can look forward to the introduction of an unexpected guest in the Zikode household. Nomonde Gumede, a beautiful teenage girl played by model and actress, Luyanda Zwane who will make her first appearance on Redemption on the 7th of March. Viewers will have to tune in to find out how she fits into the story world of Redemption, but it has been said that her character is a wolf in sheep’s clothing who unlocks pandora’s box and wreaks havoc on those around her.
Will Toolkit and Nomonde succumb to the guluvas that already taunt them or is redemption on the cards for them?
