Singer Cici joins local soapie Rhythm City as part of the cast. The Metro FM award winning songbird confirmed the great news via Instagram Sunday night. Cici already started shooting her episodes in March.
The ‘Runaway’ singer will be playing Lihle who is a gold-digger. “Lihle wants to associate with the rich and famous, and always wants to be in the limelight. She wants to be popular at all costs, is greedy and is willing to do anything to get what she wants,” she told a local publication.
The singer shared her excitement over her first acting job. “I am excited and it’s been amazing to be shown the acting ropes, as I never thought I would one day be on a soapie.”
