Actress Simz Ngema and her actor husband Dumi Masimela got married a year ago but kept it under wraps until recently when they both shared the news on Instagram. Simz Ngema talks keeping her marriage out of the public eye.
The actress says they are only willing to tell what they already put out on their social media platforms because of many media speculations and to protect their families.
“I wouldn’t talk about it because there have been a lot of articles, you know. Like the Pallance Dladla article. He’s also private so it’s not just about me; it’s about him, it’s about his family and it’s about my family. So those are the things I have to look at,” she said.
On those false Pallance Dladla rumors, the actress says it made her realize that she doesn’t want to talk about such things. “I’d rather not talk about my private life. I will say that I’m taken. That’s as far as I’m willing to go. He’s a good guy,’ she added.
“Everything that you see on Instagram right now is all we are willing to say. We are married.”
