Showmax has just released the highly anticipated trailer for Season 3 of The Mommy Club, the reality sensation that has captivated audiences with its behind-the-scenes look into the lives of glamorous and powerful moms. Set to premiere on 15 February, with new episodes dropping every Saturday, Season 3 promises even more drama, luxury, and personal rivalries than ever before.
The hit show, known for showcasing mothers who seem to have it all, is introducing four fresh faces this season: Mrs J, Pheladi, Noksie, and Vuyi. Alongside returning stars Hermajesty and Mrs Sande, as well as friends Mrs Mops and Nozipho Ntshangase, viewers can expect a season where power, wealth, and fierce personalities collide.
At 37, Mrs J is a force to be reckoned with. A wife, mother of three, sangoma, and church owner, she juggles numerous roles with grace and strength. “I’ve been following The Mommy Club from the very beginning, and I absolutely love the concept. It beautifully showcases mothers with their children and their day-to-day lives,” she shares. For Mrs J, the show is the perfect blend of her various identities. “I’m very family-oriented. I’m a mom, a wife, a spiritualist, and a businesswoman. This show represents the perfect blend of all the roles I embrace as a woman.”
Thirty-five-year-old Noksie is a wife, new mom, and successful realtor with a thriving property business. She brings a fresh perspective to the show, having recently become a mother while co-running a business with her Scottish husband. Noksie, who hails from KZN, is determined to show that women can truly “have it all.” “I’m a new mom, so my perspective might be a bit different from the other ladies. I bring fresh energy and a youthful vibe, combined with a luxury mindset and an unbreakable spirit. I’m living proof that you can have it all – just watch me,” she says confidently.
Pheladi, 31, brings a unique blend of resilience and ambition to the show. A divorced mother of two, Pheladi tied the knot at just 23 and is now rebuilding her life as an entrepreneur in the farming industry. She’s determined to show viewers the highs and lows of life and how important it is to keep going, no matter the circumstances. “I joined The Mommy Club because I want to show people the real ups and downs of life. One moment, you’re on top, and the next, you’re down but that shouldn’t stop you from picking yourself back up and trying again,” she explains. “I want viewers to see that no matter where you are, things can always get better. And of course, I’m here to add a little drama and plenty of sass along the way!”
Vuyi, 40, has faced unimaginable loss, having lost the father of her children. A resilient mother of four, she’s focused on healing and raising her children while also working as an entrepreneur in the hair industry. Vuyi is ready to share her deeply personal journey and offer support to others who have faced similar hardships. “I’ve experienced a lot of pain in my life, and I believe that in order to heal, I need to be open about it,” she reflects. “There are many people who have been through what I’ve been through, and I hope my story can give them the strength to keep going and remind them that they should never give up.”
