Shona Ferguson Mourns The Death Of His Father! It was Shona Ferguson’s birthday on the 30th of April and if you’re wondering why you didn’t see his family share appreciation posts to him it’s because they also experienced a tragedy on the same day.
From what both Shona and Connie have posted, it seems Shona’s father passed on on his birthday. Both took to Instagram to pay tribute to his father in emotional posts. Shona shared how his father taught him to be a family man and how his character on The Queen Mzansi was inspired by him.
“It’s my birthday today and it finally hit me that i will never hear you say “ Happy birthday Sho” again. I miss you so much dad. You taught me how to me a man. How to be there for my family. How to protect them & provide for them. You taught me to put GOD first, that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and SAVIOR. When my wife & I renewed our vows you officiated the ceremony. I will forever cherish that moment. A lot of people don’t know that the character of Jerry Maake is inspired by you. I honestly don’t know how I am going to continue playing him. I am so heartbroken dad. I wish I could hear your voice one more time. I wish I could hear you tell me that it’s all going to be OK. I cried so much writing this,” part of the post reads.
Connie also shared a tribute to her father in law writing, “SPECIAL does not even begin to describe you!❤️ We love you Fah, and will miss you dearly. The moments spent with you will forever be entrenched in our memories. Heaven has gained a soldier!”
Our condolences go out to the Ferguson family during this difficult time.
