Limpopo rapper Shebeshxt is at the center of controversy after a video surfaced showing him with a bottle of alcohol in his new car. According to TshisaLIVE, the video, which quickly went viral, shows the controversial artist with a drink next to the driver’s seat cup holder, sparking heated debates on social media.
In additional footage shared online, passengers in the car can be seen drinking as well. This has raised concerns, particularly due to Shebeshxt’s past. On June 8, the rapper was involved in a serious car crash while on his way to a gig, an accident that left him with severe injuries. His partner, Kholofelo Moloto, also sustained injuries, while their young daughter tragically lost her life.
While some fans have defended Shebeshxt, arguing that he is simply enjoying his new car and spending time with friends, others have expressed serious concerns about drinking and driving, especially given the rapper’s previous experience with a life-threatening accident.
Why buy the same brand your child passed away in? Personally, if my daughter dies while I’m driving a Polo, I’d get any other brand except a VW. But I guess we all deal with grief in our own way. Who am I to judge.
